Rango Lassoes The Top Spot at the Box Office

The Johnny Depp voiced, Gore Verbinski directed animated movie, Rango, hit the top spot this weekend at the box office with about $38 million. It's the highest opening for a movie this year(so far), just above The Green Hornet's $35 million.

The Adjustment Bureau and Beastly did decently better than expected, debuting in second and third respectively.

As for Take Me Home Tonight, it failed to find an audience as it could only tally up $3.5 million, despite a decent amount of advertisements and commercials on TV and the web.
