Baseball's 42 is Champion at the Box Office

The Jackie Robinson biopic, 42, easily took the top of the box office this weekend ($27.3 million).  While Scary Movie 5 scared up a decent 2nd place ($15.2 million), though it doesn't come close to what any of the other four Scary Movies did on opening weekend (the original Scary Movie debuted with $42.3 million).

Last week's number one, Evil Dead, dropped about 63% falling to 5th place.  It's a big drop, but it's pretty standard for Horror flicks to drop that much.

Overseas, Tom Cruise's Oblivion opened to a big $61.1 million... a week before it hits North America.
