Star Wars: The Force Awakens Tops 4th Weekend in a Row

New records have been made this weekend as Star Wars: The Force Awakens topped the box office for the fourth weekend in a row ($41.6 million).  Though, it wasn't an easy battle as newcomer, The Revenant, outperformed expectations ($38 million) for a very strong second place finish.   The Force Awakens probably wont come close to beating Titanic's (15) or even Avatar (7) most weekends at number one, but it doesn't have to.  The Force Awakens is now the first movie to cross the $800 million mark domestically ($812 million). In China, The Force Awakened to a record $53 million, the biggest ever for a movie there. Which helped raise the grand total to $1.73 billion. Thus, surpassing Jurassic World's $1.67 billion worldwide mark to become the 3rd biggest movie of all time. Now, we will wait and see if it can catch up to Avatar ($2.78 billion) and Titanic ($2.19 billion).
