The Revenant Claims Top Spot at Box Office

The Revenant managed to hit the spot ($16 million) at the box office in it's 3rd weekend of wide release.  Which may be fitting considering the Eastern seaboard is currently being hit by a major snow storm, forcing a lot of theaters to close for the weekend.

Newcomers, Dirty Grandpa ($11.5 million), The Boy ($11.3 million) and The 5th Wave ($10.7 million) managed to pick up 4th through 6th place.

Meanwhile, Star Wars: The Force Awakens' worldwide total now stands at $1.94 billion, edging ever so closer to Titanic's $2.187 billion... the second highest grossing movie of all time.
