Rogue One Takes Fourth Straight Weekend in a Row

Rogue One: A Star Wars Story took in $22 million for the fourth straight weekend in a row.  It has grossed $477.3 million domestically so far.  Overseas it made $56.6 million, thanks in heavy part, to it's $31 million debut in China. It has grossed $437.1 million overseas for a global total of $914.4 million.

Not far behind, in second place, was the space race drama, Hidden Figures ($21.8 million).  With it's solid reviews, it should remain strong in the coming weeks.

Underworld: Blood Wars came in 4th, with $13.1 million... It is the lowest opening for the Underworld franchise.  Though, all is not lost, as it already has raked in $42.1 million overseas off of a reported $35 million budget.

And as for A Monster Calls, well...despite it's very positive reviews, it's lowly 13th place finish ($2 million), is somewhat of a disappointment.  Possibly, because it is in fact a 2016 movie, that missed a lot of the nomination's lists.  Also, probably because it's a grown up movie, that's from the point of view of a kid... Anyways, the point is... It has good reviews, but it's not faring too well at the box office.
