Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 2 Conquers 2nd Weekend with $63 Million

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 easily dominated the box office for the second weekend in a row ($63 million).  It so far has made $246.2 million domestically and an additional $384.4 million overseas for a global total of $630.6 million.

The big news this week is that already two weekends into the Summer movie season and we already have a our first flop... King Arthur: Legend of the Sword only managed to scrounge up $14.7 million... off of a reported $175 million budget. Ouch! In fact, it was even bested by the Amy Schumer comedy, Snatched, which took in $17.5 million and is only a fraction the budget of King Arthur and also under performing.
