Despite being the third incarnation of the superhero in a decade and a half, Sony's inclusion into the Marvel Cinematic Universe was a much needed boon for the veteran web slinger. Spider-Man: Homecoming has made over $257 million worldwide, so far.

In other news, as Transformers: The Last Knight continues to stumble stateside it has grossed over $375.7 overseas for a grand worldwide total of $494.6 million.  Almost $200 million of that gross comes from China alone.
