Aladdin Flies to First with $86.1 million Debut

Another wish came true for Disney, as Aladdin easily took the top spot this Memorial Day weekend ($86.1 million) and looks to make $110+ million over the entire Holiday weekend.  Aladdin took in another $121 million overseas for an early worldwide total of $207.1 million.

John Wick: Chapter 3 - Parabellum, dropped to second with $24.4 million.  It has surpassed the $100 million mark domestically, which makes it the first of the franchise to do so.  It's worldwide total stands at $175.4 million.

As for Avengers: Endgame, it added another $16.8 million, will probably hit the $800 million domestic mark today or tomorrow, making it one of two movies (the other being Star Wars: The Force Awakens) to surpass that number. As for worldwide, not all the numbers are in for this weekend, with some outlets saying it has passed $2.7 billion, but the current take is $2.68 billion.  Whatever the case, it still has some ways to go to pass Avatar's $2.788 billion.
