Good Boys Tops Box Office with $21 Million Debut

The R-rated comedy, Good Boys, which stars a bunch of kids wrapped up in a Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg produced flick, surprisingly topped the box office this weekend with $21 million.  It is the first R-rated comedy to hit the top spot since 2016's The Boss.

As for the other newcomers, they pretty much underwhelmed: The Angry Birds Movie ($10.5 million), 47 Meters Down: Uncaged ($9 million), Blinded By the Light ($4.5 million) and Where'd You Go, Bernadette ($3.5 million).

In other news, Spider-Man: Far From Home ($1.1 billion) surpassed Skyfall's worldwide total ($1.1 billion) to become Sony's highest grossing movie of all time worldwide.

And Toy Story 4 passed the $1 billion mark this past week.
